Ok...where should i start??? I started loving Savage Garden is when I saw their video clip US version of "I WANT YOU" in MTV ASIA...and I love the part when Darren sang 'Chic-a-cherry cola'.It was amazing really... But what caught my eyes was this tall, skinny, blonde-brown guy playin the guitar and also the keyboards instead of the guy who was singing the song. This guy had all of my attention eventhough he just got bit parts in that video (just compare it with DARREN!!!) and always far away not close up....!!! But I didn't care coz he's still so handsome...

Then I wanted to know more bout Savage Garden and I found out his name is DANIEL JONES which from that time on his name was locked in my heart!!! Usually I don't like a band for a long but this one is different..i still love it now...I still sing their songs. I love their music and all their lyrics and that's why I decided I should make a page about 'em..well bout Daniel actually, coz u see for me it seems that Darren has all the attention and is exposed a lot, but Daniel???

Look, I don't hate Darren!!! I know he's a good person... I wouldn't have love Savage Garden without Darren's sexy hot cool voice!!! So ur thinking 'hey what's her problem???' And why do i seemingly seem to hate him... I dunno either....but I actually don't coz their both talented songwriters and Darren is nice (I have to admit that!!!) !! Probably what I hate is that people treat Darren's like a big star but Daniel differently

While from my point of view Daniel is way talented...he can play instruments,write songs,arrange music,etc (it won't be enough if i wrote it all)..So i think people should see that from him...Yeah I know from the two that Daniel is handsome (just admit it) and Darren is the attractive one (i admit this too)..and usually girls like guys from the handsome part but the handsome thing gets bored easily and the attractive type eventhough first unknown lasts longer (that's what my friend told me why they like Darren now although they used to like Daniel first!!!)

While Darren's gettin more good looking (he cut his hair and now looks just like the cute singer of Third Eye Blind) and Daniel just seems to fade (although he cut his hair and spiked it) and getting lack of attention.....Maybe u think I'm just the kind of girl who exaggerates but I'm tellin you ..it's true....I saw what happened,it was like this....

I saw the "tonight show with JAY LENO" and the guest was Savage Garden with the band that also went with em on their curent concert in Melbourne , they sang Truly Madly Deeply (I LOVE THIS SONG!!!) and Darren was always caught on the camera (closed up!!!),the guitarist,bass player,the drummer and the two gals were too (not close up but u can see em especially the girl singer with black hair,i don't know her name but she was in the Earthly Delite Tour) and did Daniel get caught on the camera?? The answer is NO!!!!!!!! Not a bit while that song was sang by Darren.. can you just imagine?????? Not a single bit!!!

I became confuse and asked myself what is actually Savage Garden??? I thought they were a dynamic duo from Oz!!! I thought I heard someone say that they consist of Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones!!! I thought I knew 'em were two guys from Brisbane,Queensland, Australia, I thought they got together by an ad that Daniel put on a paper to find a singer a couple years ago,I thought and i just thought But what I saw was different as if it was called "Darren and the band" or "Darren and the girl" what's wrong with everyone as though Daniel is invisible .Can't they see what's on the cover of the album??? well that's what I call Savage Garden!!!!!!!! And they got interviewed by Jay Leno he asked them when will they still be in the US, like usual Darren answered the question and left daniel like a statue.,just hearin him talk (actually Daniel was about to answer if he wasn't about to be cut....)

This didn't happen once I saw one before it was a long time ago...in CNN they were palying life on top of a building and singing "I Want You", daniel was playing keyboard near Darren....but like usual it was always Darren..but at least Daniel got a taste of the camera only HIS HANDS though..I couldn't see his face (it was too far away) while darren got a screen full!!!!

That's so pathetic.. I must remind u I don't hate Darren I just hate ppl who don't know who Savage Garden are.They are a duo...they're good like that..so treat 'em like that. That's why i made this WHY page just to make it clear that there is another soul alive and his name is DANIEL JONES so don't forget him !!!!!
